Week 16 (FYP 1)

Activity :

Checking the plagiarism for the proposal report

Objective :

To ensure that the plagiarism is not more than 20% in the report.
To keep the originality of the report.

Content/Procedure :

After feedback and comments from Madam Afifah, few adjustment has been done on the report and then emailed to check the plagiarism.

Result :

Conclusion :

Plagiarism has not exceed the 20% mark and can proceed to printing and submission of the report.

Week 15 (FYP 1)

Activity :

Completing the Final Year Project Report

Objective :

To complete the proposal report.

Content/Procedure :

- Discuss with Madam Afifah about methodology of the project.
- Give explanation about changes that has been made based on the recommendation given by the       assessor on the Proposal Defense Day.
- Complete the task based on Gantt Chart timing.

Result :

Complete the content in Chapter 3 : Methodology and Reference.
There are :
          Introduciton
          Block Diagram
          Flow Chart
          Main Component List
          Gantt Chart
       
List up all the devices need and project cost estimation of the project. Based on that, it is relevant to complete.
           Conclusion :

Complete draft report was submitted and wait for feedback from my supervisor.

Week 14 (FYP 1)

Activity :

Completing the Final Year Project Report

Objective : 

To modify and improve the content of the report based on the assesor's comment.

Content/Procedure :

A literature review was added.
A new block diagram and flowchart has been produced.


Result :

Block Diagram

Conclusion :
Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 is completed based on requirements given.

Week 13 (FYP 1)

Activity :

FYP Proposal Defense Day Semester January 2019

Objective : 

To clearly explain the purpose of the Development of EEG-Controlled Wheelchair Prototype.
To present the progress ongoing of the project.

Content/Procedure :

Two assessors were assigned for each student. My assessors was a Senior Lecturer of UNIKL BMI, Mrs Azliza bt Mohd Arshad and Head of Section for Research and Innovation Section. They have given positive feedback and some comments on my project.
The presentation was held at Gemilang Hall.





Result :

- My block diagram needs to add the computer
- The control of attention value might be hard


Conclusion :

As a conclusion, there a few things that i need to change and reconsider before proceeding project to FYP 2. Many information and suggestion i have received from the assessors.

Week 12 (FYP 1 )

Activity :

1. Final FYP 1 Briefing
2. Pre-presentation with my supervisor.

Objective : 

1. To brief on the FYP Proposal Defense Day and the writing of Proposal Report.
2. To practice the proposal defense day and improve my presentation slide.


Content/Procedure :

The briefing was given by Dr.Imran. He has shared many tips and tricks on how to defend and also to react to the assessor on the Proposal Defense Day. He also brief on how to write the final report.

My pre-presentation when quite okay but there is still quite a few of correction that i need to made. I am very thankful to my supervisor, Madam Siti Afifah for conducting this pre-presentation as it really points out my weakness and also gives me bigger picture on what will happen on that day. Her constructing comments also helps me to prepare a lot.

Result :

A few adjustment has been made on my presentation slide based on the comments of my supervisor.


Conclusion :

All the preparation for the FYP Proposal Defense Day is completed.
