Week 11 (FYP 1)

Activity :

Preparation for  Final Year Project 1 Presentation.

Objective : 

To produce a Power Point slide to present and propose my project to the assessors.

Content/Procedure :

Based on the all information that i have gathered on the previous project, all the findings were compiled an put in the presentation slide. This includes the literature review with its scopes and limitations, problem statement and project budget.
The slide is also based on the guideline and the requirements needed in the FYP form and also instructions given during the last FYP briefing.

Result :

A total of 16 slides were produced which has meet the requirements of the number of pages needed which are between 8 to 15 pages.

Conclusion :

The slide presentation was completed and will be checked by my supervisor.

Week 10 (FYP 1 )

Activity : 

Produce a flowchart of the project


Objective :


To produce a flowchart which shows the operation of the project.


Content/Procedure :


The flowchart that has been created shows bigger picture on how the project will operate and run.




Result :

The flowchart that has been produced.

Conclusion : 
The flowchart is produced base on the block diagram that were made by referring to the previous related project.

Week 9 (FYP 1)

Activity : 

Produce a block diagram of the project.

Objective :

To produce a block diagram which shows the operation and flow of the project.

Content/Procedure :

The flowchart that has been created shows how the project will operate and run.
The main reference is on the research that has been made based on previous project.
One brain sensor is used to get the input signal. Then the signal will be transmitted to the computer via Bluetooth. which are then translated into command control by the Arduino.

Result :

The block diagram that has been produced.

Conclusion : 

With the presence of this block diagram, it will help the viewer to understand more on the flow of how this project runs especially the accessor on the exhibition day.

Week 8 (FYP 1)

(01/04/2019 - 05/04/2019)

Activity : 

Get information on the previous project through journal and articles.

Objective : 

To get more information on previous existing product in related to EEG device control mechanism.

Content/Procedure : 

List out the methodology and point out the advantages/disadvantages from the journal.
Do the research about the result from previous study related to project.

Result :

In total, 9 journals were covered. All details related to the project was provided as shown in figure below. Details of the journal included are the years published, method used, the limitations and the result.

Conclusion :

In conclusion, this chapter has helped me a lot and gives me a clearer picture regarding the project that i want to develop.
